Samtech vaporiser systems

DIG-MAZ extractors may be combined individually with single or multi-stage vaporiser systems for concentration of extracts and for recovery of solvents.

Vacuum vaporising for concentration of extracts
The extract concentrator creates thermal separation of the valuable materials from the extract solution and mainly in a vacuum.

The resulting solvent vapour is liquidated again in the condenser and may be recovered as regenerated solvent for return to the extraction process. The highly concentrated materials are ejected into an extract concentrate container.

Thin-film vaporiser:

Thin-film vaporiser:

A - Filmzone
B - Bow wave
C - Annular core
D - Gap between rotor and wall
E - Rotor blade
F - Inner jacket (wall)
G - heating jacket
H - insulating jacket

Plate vaporiser:

Plate vaporisers are used when high vaporising power is required. Depending on the intended use of the extract, a thin-film vaporiser may follow.
For production of instant products that are dried with spray dryers, the concentration that is reached with the plate vaporiser is sufficient. In case of higher concentrations, a two-stage vaporising system is required and also more economical.
